Old Sewer Pipe, August 2009 - After having my drains plug up a few too many times I decided to have the pipes replaced. These were the original 1940 cast-iron pipes that in some places had rusted so much on the inside that the opening had only 1/4 the cross-section of the original.

Pescadero Creek County Park, August 2009 - Ron Bobb, Frank Paysen, Stella Hackell, Bill Bushnell, and David Bushnell started their hike at the Tarwater Trailhead and hiked the loop shown on the included map in the counter-clockwise direction. They walked moderately, stopped several times, and finished in about five and a half hours. (Distance: 10 miles; Climbing: 1700 feet)
