Beach Walk at Sunset, December 2008 - Alice, Ron, David, Kay, and Bill started at Rio Del Mar and walked on the beach north to Capitola, then we returned to Rio Del Mar. After our walk we retired to Dharma's for dinner where Laura joined us.

Trip to Austin, August 2008 - This was another routine business trip to Austin, TX. Most of the photos were from the plane going and coming.

Laura's Birthday Hike, July 2008 - We took a short hike through the Pogonip Preserve, up to the lime kilns, then back along the main road and picked blackberries that were ripening nearby.

Midland, TX to San Jose, CA, January 2008 - My long day of travel from Midland, TX to San Jose, CA. I was delayed for six hours in Midland due to fog in Dallas (where I switched planes). When I arrived in Dallas my connecting flight was late by four hours. Since my original connection was 2.5 hours I had a half-hour to get to the other side of the airport to make the San Jose flight, but my checked baggage didn't make it. It was delivered to my home the next morning by a courier.
