San Francisco Auto Show, November 1993 - During Thanksgiving week Dan, Matthew and I spent part of a day going to the San Francisco Auto Show at the Moscone Center.

Northeastern California, August 1993 - Dan Norton and I took a three-day/two-night trip to northeastern California. Dan was looking for a town to settle in, and he seemed especially interested in Modoc County and the area around Cedarville. We spent our first night near Burney Falls State Park at the PG&E campground. The second day we drove to Alturas and Cedarville, as far north as Fort Bidwell, and then returned south through Nevada and the Black Rock desert. We thought of staying in Reno, but the day was early, so we started home over the Sierras. By the time we were ready to stop for the day, it was already dark, and all the motels were full. We finally found a Motel 6 in West Sacramento.
