Mt. Diablo is the most distant mountain. Just rising out of the smoggy haze below Mt. Diablo we can see Mission Peak (2517ft), Mt. Allison (2658ft), and Monument Peak (2594ft). The nearest ridge is in Almaden Quicksilver County Park. San Jose lies beheath the typical fall/winter inversion layer.
