Jobst photographs a new crank pedal eye for comparison against damaged ones.
At lower left are Jobst's wheels that use hubs and spokes dating to the 1970s. The Avocet tire hanging on the rack failed early and was apparently one of the tires manufactured in IRC's subcon facility where according to Jobst quality control was substandard. The Bell V1-Pro helmet seems an unlikely accessory for Jobst. Jobst was fond of collecting tools, water bottles, and other accessories that he found on the road. Photo courtesy of Don Pardo.
