The Hydrant Sanitary at the Chickaree picnic area
USFS had turned off this hydrant. Last time I came by this spot, the hydrant was functioning. Fortunately, the shut-off valve leaked, so I was able to get a dribble from the tap when I turned the red handle, enough to fill a small water bottle in about 5 minutes. It was all I needed.
