The path over the bridge terminates in the weeds at the west end.
After pressing through the weeds, one must ride counterflow on the shoulder of an the on-ramp below, then cross on the bridge to the north side of CA37 before resuming a westbound journey.

Unlike CA152 the shoulder to the right of the rumble strip here was reasonably clean.

This part of CA37 is along the historic El Camino Real.
I hadn't noticed this historical marker on prior trips.

The narrow bridge crossing Novato Creek is shorter than the Petaluma River Bridge.
