Convict Lake, September 9, 1998 - Kay, David, Laura, and Bill Bushnell hiked around Convict Lake on a stormy, windy day.
Minaret Vista, September 10, 1998 - Kay, David, Laura, and Bill enjoyed the morning sun on our first clear day in the mountains at Minaret Vista.
Rainbow Falls, September 10, 1998 - Kay, David, Laura, and Bill Bushnell hiked to see Rainbow Falls. Laura and Bill continued on to see the less-spectacular but still pretty Lower Falls.
Horseshoe Lake, September 10, 1998 - Laura and Bill Bushnell hiked from Reds Meadow over Mammoth Pass to Horseshoe Lake where we met David and Kay who took the easy way and drove back over Minaret Vista. Took them about as long to reach the lake as it did us.

Mt. Hoffman, September 11, 1998 - Kay, David, Laura, and Bill Bushnell hiked from the May Lake Trailhead up to May Lake. We then continued up to Mt. Hoffman, but David and Kay decided not to continue to the summit. Laura and Bill reached the summit and enjoyed the view briefly until the clouds started to quickly gather and snow started to fall.

High Sierra Fall Century, September 12, 1998 - John Serafin, Stella Hackell and I rode the High Sierra Fall Century where we saw John Langbein and Karen Davis who were also riding that day.
Mono Pass, September 13, 1998 - David and Bill Bushnell hiked from Mosquito Flat up to Mono Pass and a bit further to a nice viewspot on the low end of Ruby Ridge overlooking Pioneer Basin. We then hiked back down to the trailhead.

Clouds Rest, September 14, 1998 - David and Bill Bushnell hiked from Tenaya Lake to the summit of Clouds Rest and back. We enjoyed lunch at the top, watching the chipmunks go after our crumbs, and an unexpected air show.
