Photo Albums from family trip to Hawaii, April 2007
- The First Day, April 22, 2007 - Photos from the plane, our condo in Waikiki, strolls along the beach, and a few pictures from Jack Johnson's performance at the Kokua Festival.
- USS Bowfin, April 23, 2007 - Kay and Bill took a self-guided tour of the WWII submarine, USS Bowfin at Pearl Harbor.
- USS Arizona, April 23, 2007 - Kay and Bill visit the USS Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor.
- AIAA Conference, April 23, 2007 - David gives his presentation at the AIAA conference at the Sheraton Waikiki.
- Diamondhead, April 24, 2007 - Kay and Bill hike up to the summit of Diamondhead.
- O'ahu Tour, April 24, 2007 - Laura, Kay, and Bill spent the afternoon driving from Honolulu over the Pali Highway to the east coast, then north along Kamehameha Highway to the north shore beaches, then back to Honolulu through the center of O'ahu.
- Hawaiiana Hotel, April 25, 2007 - We all visited the hotel where Kay and David honeymooned 44 years ago.
- Transfer to Maui, April 25, 2007 - Photos from our transfer from Honolulu to Maui. Most of the photos were taken from the plane.
- Ka'anapali Shores, April 26, 2007 - Photos taken in the condo, from the condo, or on the beach in front of the condo.
- Hana Highway, April 27, 2007 - A driving trip from Lahaina to Hana, Maui, most of the time spent driving the narrow, winding Hana Highway between Paia and Hana.
- Haleakala, April 28, 2007 - We drove to the top of Haleakala then hiked a few miles down the Sliding Sands Trail to Ka Lu'u o ka 'O'o crater where we saw many examples of colorful rock. After returning to the summit area, we started down the mountain, stopping at Kalahaku Overlook along the way.
- 'Iao Valley State Park, April 28, 2007 - On our way back to the Ka'anapali Shores from Haleakala, we stopped by 'Iao Valley State Park, a small park nestled in a deep valley on the eastern side of the West Maui mountains west of Wailuku and Kahului. Since this valley is on the eastern side of the mountains the climate is wet and tropical.
- The Last Day, April 29, 2007 - A few final pictures at the condo in Maui and on the trip home.
