Panorama from near the summit along UT12 on the slopes of Boulder Mountain.

At the left we see Mt. Ellen (11,522ft), Mt. Pennell (11,371ft), and Mt. Hillers (10,723ft). In front of these mountains is the long ridge in Capitol Reef National Park. Moving to the right we see the great expanse of mesas and canyons in Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. The distant peak near the center is Navajo Mountain (10,346ft).
