This is one of the steep parts just below Shotgun Bend. In the distance one can see the hangars at Moffet Field. Behind them one can see the trio of peaks (Mission, Allison, and Monument) above Warm Springs and Milpitas. To the right of the "Slide Area" sign is San Jose, CA. Mt. Hamilton can be seen below the small clouds.
