Mountain Charlie Rd. gets rougher each year.

Unfortunately, Mtn. Charlie Rd. is an alternate to CA17 when the latter is backed up, and the road surface shows this extra wear. One supposes that the county will keep this road maintained due to the large number of residences along the way.
