Mt. Conness Summit Panorama, south view
At the left we can see the expansive Conness Plateau, and behind it Lee Vining Canyon, Mono Craters, Glass Mountain, and in the distance the White Mountains. The high peak with an orange shoulder is Mt. Dana (13053ft) and its companion in the shadow behind, Mt. Gibbs (12773ft). To the right of Mt. Dana we can see the Kuna Crest, The Ritter Range, and Mts. Lyell (13114ft) and McClure (12960ft). Further to the right we can see the scalloped points of the Cathedral Range, a corner of Tuolumne Meadows, and Half Dome (8842ft). To the far right we can see Mt. Hoffman (10850ft), the Grand Canyon of the Tuolumne River, and the countless domes of northern Yosemite.
