From the left we can see Mt. Allison (2658ft), the old summit marker on the south summit near at hand, then in the distance, Loma Prieta (3791ft) and Mt. Umunhum (3486ft) appearing like little more than a bump on Loma Ridge. The sprawl of San Jose, then the Castle Rock Ridge (3200ft) and Black Mountain (2800ft) appearing as one dark ridge in the distance, the southern end of San Francisco Bay. To the northwest we can see the bump of San Bruno Mountain (1314ft), the north summit of Mission Peak (2512ft), and to its immediate right, Mt. Tamalpais (2571ft). At the far right we can see the bump of Vollmer Peak (1910ft), the high point of the Oakland/Berkeley Hills.
