Tale of two rotors (1)

The rotor on the right is a stock rotor from a BMC 300-watt motor that uses a 16-pole ceramic ring magnet. The rotor on the left was modified by Paul Montgomery with 20 Neodymium "high-temperature" (150C) magnets, turning the motor into a 20-pole device.
