A strong climber tucking in behind me.

I was climbing Stage Rd. north of San Gregorio with a strong climber, Andrew ? (--didn't get his last name), on my tail. I don't get too many riders who can stay with me on a climb, but Andrew stayed with me to the top of the hill and had a bit left in his legs to sprint past me to the stopsign. Why wasn't he at the hill climb?
