Mono Basin Panorama (7040ft)

From the left we can see CA158 heading toward June Lake and the side-road that leads to the lower end of Parker Canyon. Below this is Zach's head. Above this we can see Mt. Wood (12657ft), Parker Peak (12861ft), Koip Peak (12979ft), Mt Lewis (12342ft), Bloody Canyon that leads to Mono Pass (north), Mt. Gibbs (12773ft), Mt. Dana poking into view (13056ft), then Zach again with his Aero. Moving to the right we see the northern wall of Lee Vining Canyon surmounted by Tioga Peak (11526ft), Mt. Warren (12327ft), and Lee Vining Peak (11691ft). CA158 continues down to US395 in the direction of Mono Lake (6375ft), which looks much more impressive from the summit of one of the higher peaks such as Mt. Dana than it does from here. To the right of Mono Lake we see Mono Craters, the highest of which is Crater Mountain (9172ft). Looking further to the right we can see toward Deadman Summit, the south end of Mono Basin, the small bumps of Wilson Butte (8488ft) marking the direction and to the right, Mt. Downs (9764ft). Moving again to the right we see the ski runs at the top of June Mountain (10130ft), Reversed Peak (9481ft), San Joaquin Mountain (11600ft), Carson Peak (10909ft), and Grant Peak (9278ft). Finally at the lower right we see Ron's head.
