Bill preparing his bike #1.
The bike is a Rotator Ti Pursuit with custom fairing. I call it my "F1" fairing because it's the first one I made: a wraparound sock tensioned by a Meuller Windwrap fairing in front and a tripod made of aluminum tubes in the rear. I added the side panels because I found that the sock got blown around (flapped) too much without them. The panels add some weight (~3 lbs), but make the bike significantly more aerodynamic.
