On the left we see the cliffs above Seacliff State Beach. Moving to the right we see the hills above San Juan Bautista rising into view, coming to a maximum point at Fremont Peak (3170ft). In the center we can see surfers enjoying the waves off Pleasure Point. In the distance the smokestacks of the Moss Landing power plant can be seen in the distant haze. To the right, the northern end of the Santa Lucia range can be seen. Monterey is hidden from view by the fog.
