Chalk Mountain (west peak), south panorama (1586ft)

From the left we see the eroded slopes of Warren Ridge, the summit of Hihn Hammond Ridge, Pine Mountain, and Eagle Rock. The large valley at the center is the Waddell Creek Valley. The bare eroded ridges in the distance are spurs off of Ben Lomond Mountain and lie between the Mill Creek drainage. Further in the distance we can just discern the grassy slopes of Fremont Peak, Monterey Bay, and the Santa Lucia Mountains south of Monterey. Moving further to the right we can see the edge of the fog bank along the coast near Ano Nuevo, although the Point is obscured by the fog.
