From the left we can see lower Cathedral Lake (9288ft). A corner of Tioga Rd. can be seen passing behind Pywiack Dome (8851ft). Above we can see Mt. Hoffman (10850ft) and Hoffman's Thumb along the ridge. The broad-topped mountain to the right of the distant ridge is Tuolumne Peak (10845ft). To the right we can see Mendicott Dome (9970ft), and above it, the Grand Canyon of the Tuolumne River.
