Brook Trail Loop from Heritage Grove

Our route started at the Heritage Grove Trailhead, climbed to the Hiker's Hut, then south to the viewpoint and on to the Junction of the Towne Fire Road and Bravo Fire Road. Stella and Frank continued on the Bravo Fire Road while David and Bill descended the Towne Fire Road. We regrouped at the Brook Trail Loop and Pomponio Trail where we ate lunch.
We returned through Jones Gulch, then up the Brook Trail Loop. At the top of the climb Stella and Frank detoured into Sam McDonald Park and returned on the Heritage Grove Trail while David and Bill continued on the Brook Trail Loop and descended the Heritage Grove Trail as we had climbed in the morning.
