Severely trimmed redwood trees.

I took this photo to show that the redwood trees have been trimmed severely on the track side. One wonders why redwood trees were chosen to fill this narrow space between the train tracks and the street. (Evelyn Ave. in Mountain View)

A train just happened to be passing by, so I included it to show that the tree's cut branches would have come nowhere near the moving equipment.
