Oops.

My shoes didn't like hiking over the slide as one of the buckles broke off. I managed to temporarily fix it with gaffers tape. Fortunately, I don't pull up much when I pedal, but leaving the buckle loose would let my foot fall out of the shoe without pulling.
I see I still had a burr in my sock, too.
