That morning we experienced the passage of a strong squall line complete with thunder and lightning crossing the island of Kaua'i. For the next few days we had cloudy, rainy weather in the higher areas of the island. But, it made for interesting clouds. The passage of the front cooled the temperatures slightly for a short time. But, when the sun came out, the weather became muggy again.
