Battery charging Wye
Chargers are connected in parallel at the right, while batteries are connected at the left. Up to four (4) chargers with isolated output and eight (8) batteries at various states of charge can be connected simultaneously. All batteries must have the same chemistry and cell number, and all chargers must have the same charging profile. The active devices are Vishay M6060P-E3/45 dual cathode Schottky diodes in series with the negative leads. These are to prevent batteries at different states of charge from discharging/charging into each other at high current.
