Frank waits on the far shore of Cecile Lake while I make up my mind which way around the lake is easiest.

I had neglected to do my research before this hike to learn whether it was easier to traverse the lake on its eastern or western shore. We chose the eastern shore due to it shorter distance, and this turns out to have been the best choice.
